The 37.75m (123’10”) motor yacht Saffuriya (formerly Hakuna Matata) was built by Peri Yachts at their Antalya shipyard in Turkey. Completed in 2011, her interior was designed by Scaro Design, while her sleek exterior is the work of Dixon Yacht Design. She underwent a significant refit in 2020, ensuring her modernized luxury.

Guest Accommodation

Saffuriya is designed to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests across 5 elegant suites, including two VIP cabins. With a day guest capacity of 30, she offers ample space for entertaining. Additionally, she can carry up to 7 crew members, guaranteeing a relaxed and premium yachting experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a GRP hull and superstructure, along with teak decks, Saffuriya boasts excellent speed and efficiency, aided by her planing hull. She is powered by twin MTU (16V 200M 92) 2,185hp diesel-electric engines, allowing her to cruise at 20 knots and reach a top speed of 25 knots. At a cruising speed of 11 knots, she has an impressive range of up to 1,850 nautical miles, supported by 37,000-liter fuel tanks.

With a low draft of 1.57m (5’2″), Saffuriya is well-suited for navigating shallow waters and coastal areas. Her at-anchor stabilizers ensure maximum comfort for guests during all conditions. She is equipped with 3,250 liters of fresh water storage and was built to meet the DNV (Det Norske Veritas) ✠ 1A Yacht Motor MC(2) R3 classification rules. Additionally, she is MCA compliant, adhering to international maritime standards.
