Monaco Boat Show 2024
The Monaco Yacht Show remains the pinnacle of luxury yachting, unveiling innovations and setting trends in the maritime industry. This year’s event featured numerous launches, sustainability initiatives, and groundbreaking designs, making it an essential gathering for yacht enthusiasts and industry leaders alike.
One major discussion, moderated by Marilyn Mower, brought together Giovanni Pomati, CEO of Nautor Swan, and Massimo Perotti, CEO of Sanlorenzo, to discuss future collaborations between their companies with a focus on innovation and sustainability. Heesen presented its 62-meter Project Monte-Carlo, a standout superyacht with hybrid propulsion and a strong market outlook, emphasizing their commitment to custom yachts between 40-80 meters.
Winch Design showcased the interior of Project Master, a 70-meter explorer yacht, while Bannenberg & Rowell, in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation, introduced the Designers’ Protocol 2024, emphasizing sustainability in yacht design, including energy efficiency and sustainable materials.
Newcomers like GX Superyachts also made waves with the launch of their GX 56, featuring hybrid propulsion and solar panels, reducing emissions by up to 60%. Meanwhile, Ferretti Group premiered the wallywind110 and Custom Line 50 Asante, and BWA Yachting announced its expansion into Saudi Arabia, marking significant developments in global yachting services.
As the show wrapped up, it also celebrated environmental stewardship with the launch of the Environmental Crew Guidelines 2.0 by the Water Revolution Foundation. The Monaco Yacht Show 2024 was not just about showcasing yachts but also about fostering connections, advancing sustainability, and setting the stage for the future of yachting. With a renewed focus on eco-consciousness and innovation, the event solidified its place as the premier gathering for luxury maritime professionals.
