Dubai Boat Show 2023
The recently concluded Dubai International Boat Show 2023 has been a great success and has become one of the most significant events in the yachting world. Enthusiasts from around the globe flocked to Dubai’s port to enjoy the vast display of over 200 boats and witness 44 new launches of the latest designs and technologies. The event featured various entertainment activities like water sports shows, seminars, workshops, fishing competitions, live music shows, and diving demonstrations.
Primarily, the Dubai International Boat Show 2023 provided an excellent opportunity for the world’s leading yacht brands to showcase their luxurious vessels at the Dubai harbor. More than 1,000 prominent names and brands in the marine industry exhibited their latest innovations, including Beneteau, BehneMar Yachting, De Antonio, Ferreti, Gulf Craft, Lagoon, Ocean Independence, Riva, Sanlorenzo, Silent Yachts, Sunreef, and Sunseeker Gulf, among others. The event highlighted the largest and most expensive yacht, Independence’s 68m Soaring, valued at Dhs350 million.
Gulf Craft, the UAE yacht-maker, introduced its highly-anticipated Majesty 111 and the surprise new addition, Nomad 101. The two yachts were already sold during the event, with many serious leads looking to make purchases. Silent Yachts, the world’s first ocean-going production yachts powered by solar energy, also reported an impressive response from visitors. Italian yacht manufacturer Azimut exhibited its Gulf Premiere Fly 68, Fly 53, and larger vessels, the $10 and Grande 27M.
BehneMar Yachting introduced the region’s first Cigarette power performance boat, which CEO Tim Trenker predicts will “rock the market in the weeks, months and years to come.” Other notable superyacht brands launched their new vessels at the event, including the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62, De Antonio D46, Ferretti Yachts 780, Lagoon Catamarans SEVENTY 8, Riva 88* Folgore, and the Riviera 72. Sanlorenzo Yachts premiered the 110 as well as the SL86, and Sunreef Yachts revealed its 60 Power Eco and its Eco 80.
Overall, the event was a huge success and enjoyed by producers, industry insiders, and thousands of visitors who experienced the adrenaline-pumping offerings of the event. The Dubai International Boat Show 2023 laid the foundation for doing even better in 2024, where Dubai is expected to delight everyone with many more surprises.
